Typo setting.

I want typography to be an important part of my design style so I have undergone some research into style that would be best suited for my designs.

Something that is important for me is to get the balance right between type and imagery. I want type to become a part of the image and work with it instead of looking like it doesn't belong on the page. I love this use of type over the top of full page images, with a variation of colours and blending modes. This could look really affective in an agm, especially for case study sort of things so will work on this from the start.

I have found a few typefaces that I think could be used in my designs. Memphis is the font used in the silent cities logo, but I think it is one of those fonts that has it's place and think it would looked wrong used excessively throughout, so I have gone for strong, bold, timeless typefaces that can portray a number of different emotions. I will decide on which one to use at a later date.
